Why our special blend of seeds and feeds?
Nutrition is only the second greatest need besides water, well balanced food is essential for our overall well-being. It makes the difference how we feel physically and mentally. Animals are no different Especially our feathered friends. A good meal can make the difference between great looking, shiny feathers all the way to how they behave. Think of the benefits of how you feel after a well balanced meal.
If you are a parrot owner you know that big box stores don’t carry what you need and what they have could be sitting in a warehouse for years before making it to you. They focus on fatty diets, high in seeds and sunflowers or no fun dry pellets. It has been noted that diet has cause heath issues and unfortuallently premature death.
Our blends and treats are made with each specific species in mind and what they need. Our blends feature only the best premium pellets providing a great maintience base, premium fruit along with other fun foods that provide a healthy enrichment. Our blends are Hand crafted in small batches, they are made right in our home. Our own personal birds love it. A difference you can see!
Return/ Refund on products not live birds.
We have a 15 day return policy on products that are not live birds. However, if an item is used and or open, we cannot return it due to possibility of diseases transfer.
Items that are not returnable included bulk food and treats.
What type of Parrots do you handle?
Although we have limited space to house all the birds we want, if you are interested in a particular species, we can reach out to our vendors to see if it’s something we can get you.
Are Deposits required?
YES! - If you are interested in a particular Parrot that we have already in our care, you must deposit the sum of at least 25% or greater to reserve it until fully weaned. - see next question.
If you are requesting a bird that we currently don’t have in our care, we are more than happy to locate one from our reputable breeders, but we would require 50% down. - see next question
Are Deposits refundable?
Only in the event that something happens on our end.
Can I purchase and unweaned baby?
No. Although it seems like a fun idea to hand feed your own baby it’s a delicate process requiring specific things. To ensure the safety and well being of our babies we only sell completely weaned babies - no need to worry this will not effect the bonding process for you,
What type of warranty do you provide?
To our knowledge all birds are healthy and without defect when they leave us.
After a bird is sold you have 48 hours to take that bird to a Certified Avian Vet this ensures a health guarantee. If you do not take the bird to the vet, there is no guarantee for the health of the bird. If something happens within the 48 hours I would need to see the vet records and necropsy results in order to receive a refund A NECROPSY MUST BE PERFORMED TO ESTABLISH A GENETIC ISSUE BEING COD. (Refunds are only the exchange of birds for another bird or if I don’t have any birds for replacing, money will be exchanged based on my discretion) If at any time after sale (after the 48-hour agreement) you decide you want to return your bird I will take the bird back but you will forfeit any cash exchanged.
We cannot guarantee personality of birds, a bird could be super happy go lucky here and completely different somewhere else. Please allow your bird at least a week to adjust and settle as birds are very sensitive creatures.
If it is perceived that you have smell smoke on you or in your car of any kind you forfeit any guarantee for the bird. You are solely responsible for doing the proper research on the bird type you choose; these birds live for a long time and whatever species your thinking of needs thoroughly researched. I am a resource for the life of your bird but please do research beforehand!
Do you offer shipping on live birds?
Currently no, unless there are special circumstances.
How long will you hold my bird?
I will only hold a bird for no more than 1 week after his weaning date if you do not pay for the bird in full and or pickup (make shipping arrangements) the bird by that time your deposit will be forfeited, and the bird will be reposted for sale. The only exception to this is if you pay a boarding fee (@ $15 a day) and it is agreed upon by us. There will be no negotiations on pricing of my babies or my adult birds. Agreement of purchase establishes that you agree to these policies and are aware that this is a binding contract.
What will you receive with your new bird?
we will put together a kit that will include original hatch certificate, DNA and Disease testing paperwork if included (any bird between 500-999, We DNA for Free and bird greater than 999.00 we DNA and Disease test for Free, Saving you $$$. )- we will provide you with written instructions that have aided us and to help you get to know your new feathered friend.
